Sylvia Plath Reads Ariel (by mishima1970)
As a society, we encourage girls and women to be emotionally accessible, and in touch with their feelings; we say that it’s an innately feminine trait. We say it, that is, until they have feelings that make us uncomfortable, at which point we recast them as melodramatic harpies, shrieking banshees, and basket cases

People are interesting. Life is weird. It’s good. It’s bad. Well there’s really no such thing. We create our personal destinies within a context of our (somewhat manipulated) society. We deal by attaching ourselves to taught or generalized beliefs/ religions/politics and societal norms. However, I think we have the power to achieve something beyond our perceived concepts of life and how it should be lived. We have the power to create our own destinies. Anything is possible if you have a vision and carry it through. With bold and courageous steps forward into battle.
